Tiers and Tiaras - Flavours and Portion Guide

All our cakes are made to our own personal recipes and are never bought in.   We take great pride in our work to ensure every cake, favour or cookie only leaves us when we are completely satisfied that they meet our own exacting standards.

 

Many of our ingredients are local and organic where possible, sourced from the finest suppliers; we never compromise on quality.   We use free range eggs, the finest Belgian chocolate, Nielson-Massey vanilla, Fairtrade unrefined sugars and the best preserves and curds.

 

Fruit cake – Moist and delicious with fruits that have been marinated in brandy or rum, natural cherries, hand cut peel and nuts.  

 

Victoria Sandwich – Light layers of sponge infused with Madagascan vanilla and then filled with a fruit conserve and rich butter cream.

 

Dark Belgian Chocolate Cake – This is our signature cake, rich and moist with a delicious flavour.  It is layered and filled with chocolate ganache and is totally decadent.

 

Carrot Cake – Rum soaked raisins, juicy carrots, coconut, fresh orange zest and nuts.

 

Luscious Lemon Cake – Light, moist, and refreshingly zingy. Made with freshly squeezed, unwaxed lemons.

 

We make many other flavours and cater for special dietary needs although, regrettably, we are unable to supply nut free cakes.
